Zur Hochmuhle in Schoeneck

We love coming to the Hochmühle, here you can relax and eat very well. From the schnitzel to the seasonal hand cheese kebab, the roast suckling pig to the Christmas goose, everything is really excellent. The service leaves nothing to be desired, always very nice and courteous. Even if we are currently not allowed to come by, we enjoy the food we have ordered at home. As soon as we're allowed to go back, we'll see you in the restaurant. :) best regards Kathrin Türpitsch

Thanks alot! It couldn't be better. Great food and incredibly friendly and keen that the customer is satisfied. This also made the desire for plenty of porcini mushrooms possible. We celebrated my mother's birthday and ordered food for 10 people. From the canapes and greetings from the kitchen to the antipasti, the lamb's lettuce, the great goose with dumplings, red cabbage and Brussels sprouts (everything prepared with great fresh herbs) to the mousse au chocolat with our own red grits, we were perfectly happy. After the property was sold, the restaurant had to close permanently. End of 130 years of restaurant tradition (since 1891).

Nice ambience, very attentive service and delicious food at reasonable prices. Recommendable.

The rooms of the restaurant are cozy and elegant and designed with great attention to detail, here you can stay longer. The service is quite nice, but somehow too rough for the upscale atmosphere that the menu and prices suggest. It's the same with food: it tastes good, but you can get the same quality elsewhere for half the price. There is still room for improvement here.

After a lot of spontaneous attempts we finally made it. Priced a bit high but the quality of the products perfectly fine. Service very nice and accommodating. All in all a successful evening with delicious food. Come again.

We just wanted to eat there, the waiter asked, if the table is free. Everything O.K. Then after 10 minutes it is closed company! No sign at the entrance and no message from the waiter before.

The quality of the food is excellent! The staff is very friendly. It can be said that the chef cooks the food with passion. I will definitely come back!

Food at the highest level. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend reserving, as the restaurant is very busy. Spontaneously just eating out is difficult there.

How good is the food? I still remember details after years, and this not only affects the quality, the taste or the art of the presentation but also the general atmosphere. So good. An absolute stroke of luck.

Very good food, dog-friendly, price is okay, fried potatoes a little thinly cut and crispy, but everything else is really tasty and cozy. Lunch only on Fridays, changing dishes off the menu. Nice open plates nice staff

Apart from the really delicious food, customer service is very important here, very nice atmosphere with great attention to detail and there is also a good selection for vegetarians. We were super satisfied and would love to come back.

My favourite dinner when in Frankfurt / Nidderau, wonderful dinner a owner who looks after his guests old and new. Attention to detail at all times here and nothing is a issue, good choice of wines and the surprise desert was a treat. Keep it up guys see you when back from the Uk 🇬🇧
